I specialize in working with children, teens, and young adults with a dedication to creating a nurturing and understanding space where growth can flourish. I combine academic knowledge with a genuine passion for helping young people navigate the challenges of growing up. My approach is deeply rooted in warmth and empathy, fostering an environment where her clients feel heard, validated, and supported as they explore their emotions and develop coping skills.
Recognizing the power of play in communication and healing, I incorporate play-based interventions into my practice to engage my younger clients in a way that feels natural and enjoyable. This playful approach not only helps children and teens express themselves more freely but also fosters creativity and resilience. In addition to my formal education and in correlation with my passion for a child's language, I am working towards becoming a Registered Play Therapist. Another key specialty in my work with families is incorporating Child Parent Relationship Training (CPRT) into my practice. I firmly believe in the importance of strengthening the bond between a child and their parents with recognition of the impacts of positive shifts in a child's behavior and emotional well-being can stem from improved parent-child relationships. Through parent coaching, I empower parents with the tools and strategies they need to support their children effectively.
Why I do what I do?
Above all, I value genuine connection on a personal level with my clients. I believe that building a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation for meaningful change and works diligently to establish trust and rapport with each individual she works with. I chose this field because I have a deep passion for working with individuals and children. It’s a privilege to walk alongside someone on their journey of growth. As a therapist, my goal is simple: if I can make just one person feel less alone and more understood, I consider that a success. By understanding their unique perspectives and goals, I collaborate with them to create personalized treatment plans that empower them to achieve their full potential and lead fulfilling lives.
In my free time, I enjoy spending quality moments with my family and exploring new places. I love discovering new restaurants and cooking with my husband and son—it’s one of my favorite ways to bond and create lasting memories.
