Catherine received her Bachelors of Arts at College of Charleston and Masters of Art Therapy and Counseling at Seton Hill University. She also holds a 200hr certificate as a yoga instructor, a certification in Autism Spectrum Disorders and a certification in Enneagram Applications. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, being outdoors, camping and spending time with her cat and husband.

Catherine is Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Art Therapist who primarily structures her therapeutic practice through a Person Centered approach with motivational Interviewing and personality exploration to promote change. She also enhances in her process with the inclusion of our basic necessities for a healthy lifestyle such as water, sleep, exercise and nutritious eating. In addition, she provides the opportunity for art making, meditation and a compassionate energy and space for healing the negative mindset stimulated by a history of toxic messages, trauma, anxiety, fear and emotional dysregulation.
She specializes in working with teens and adults who are combating struggles such as stress and anxiety, identity exploration, social anxiety, life transitions, and processing fears resulted from trauma or traumatic events. She accentuates the importance of a balanced lifestyle to guide healthy habit forming and self-compassion. She typically works with diagnoses involving Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Social/Performance anxiety, ADD, Level 1 Autism Spectrum Disorder (formerly Aspergers Syndrome) , Attachment and Adjustment disorders and neuro-typical individuals desiring more deeper understanding of their depth, impact and capabilities.
Catherine aims to create a unique space and opportunity for individuals of all ages to safely and vividly express, grow and discover who they are and what they need. Art can be a form of communication so Art Therapy allows for what is hard to speak to still be expressed and understood. Catherine's previous work experience includes a special needs school, residential treatment facility and acute care psychiatric hospital.
She offers restorative yoga incorporation and personalized guided imagery meditations for enhanced relaxation upon request.
